Nexoria Seeks Starlink Community Host Beta Role for Red Rock Village
Thomas Ford has reached out to Starlink about becoming a U.S. community host for the project. The goal is to evaluate how Starlink connectivity could serve as an internet source for Red Rock Village, with local networking equipment distributing access throughout the community.
Starlink describes its Community Host program as a way for one Starlink Kit to connect multiple nearby users. Its site says community members may access service through flexible passes, while hosts can earn from connections. Starlink’s interest form invites applicants to join a waitlist for a chance to participate in the beta.
Nexoria is exploring whether the program could support Red Rock Village’s broader connectivity plans as the development moves forward. A community-wide system for more than 5,000 residents would require careful planning for network coverage, capacity and equipment beyond the initial satellite connection.
Nexoria has not announced acceptance into the beta program or a formal partnership with Starlink. The company’s outreach is an initial step toward learning whether the program could fit the needs of the proposed community.
More information about Starlink’s Community Host program is available at Starlink Community Host.
